MyEtherWallet (MEW) is an open-source wallet that allows users to store and send cryptocurrency while controlling their own private keys. MEW is focused on Ethereum and its tokens, and can link up with other wallets and devices. While MEW is not the most user-friendly for beginners, there are tutorials available. MEW recently dealt with a phishing attack, but took steps to prevent future schemes by including pop-ups reminding users to check the URL.
